I created a poster called 'MIX IT', inspired by my sibling's passion for mixing music. The design reflects them, using their keyboard as a graphic element.
The poster embraces a maximalist and brutalist style, with bold typography and intense contrasts that draw attention. The structured layout challenges traditional design norms, creating a dynamic visual flow, while the striking colour palette amplifies the raw energy of the composition.
To further link the design to my sibling and introduce a softer contrast, I incorporated pieces of swallow birds that symbolise their tattoo. These elements add depth and texture to the composition while balancing the bold, structured design.
